Proteste fata de ACTA-Opriti cenzura internetului
Consultarile Parlamentului European privind ACTA sunt preconizate sa inceapa pe 27 februarie, conform declaratiilor lui Schulz, iar europarlamentarii vor trebui să se pronunte înainte de luna iunie.
Sambata, zeci de mii de persoane au manifestat în toata Europa, în Germania estimându-se participarea a 100.000 de persoane, impotriva cenzurarii Internetului de catre prevederile continute în acest acord multilateral privind contrafacerea. Aproximativ 2000 de persoane au protestat, pe 11 februarie, în Piata Universitatii din Bucureşti, alte mii de romani iesind în strada în restul tarii.
Eurodeputatii socialisti, liberali şi ecologisti denuntă riscurile unui text care apara prea mult persoanele care detin drepturile de autor în detrimentul societatii.
Pe 26 ianuarie, sute de milioane de europeni au aflat ca Guvernele care ii reprezinta au semnat la Tokyo, in secret, un tratat international care sub masca actiunilor concertate impotriva produselor contrafacute şi a pirateriei digitale, aduce de fapt grave atingeri libertatilor individului, transforma furnizorii de internet într-o cyber-militie privata, orice internaut devenind un “suspect” pentru încalcarea unor drepturi de autor.
Din pacate, Romania se afla pe lista statelor europene care au semnat ACTA (Tratatul Comercial Anti-Contrafacere) si nici pană în momentul de fata nici-o institutie abilitata nu a demarat vreo dezbatere publica pe acesta tema.
State precum Cehia sau Polonia au suspendat ratificarea acordului, la presiunea societatii civile şi a atacurilor hackerilor, premierii celor doua tari avand pana la urma curajul unor “iesiri” publice. De asemenea, raportorul PE a demisionat denuntand negocierile cu privire la acest tratat pe care l-a calificat drept o "mascarada" iar ambasadoarea Sloveniei la Tokyo si-a cerut public scuze, printr-o scrisoare, pentru faptul ca a semnat tratul care “limiteaza în special viitorul copiilor nostri”.

Site-ul Agentiei Centrale americane de Informatii (CIA) era inaccesibil vineri după-amiaza,grupul de hackeri activisti Anonymous au revendicat atacul.Conectarea la site-ul cia.gov era imposibila vineri dupa-amiaza.
"CIA Tango down", a anuntat un membru al grupului Anonymous pe contul Twitter @YourAnonNews, utilizat de activistii hackeri frecvent.
"Tango Down", în jargonul fortelor speciale, inseamnă ca un inamic a fost doborat. Nicio explicatie suplimentara nu a fost furnizata de Anonymous.

Actiunile Apple au depasit pragul de 500 de dolari pentru prima data
Cotatia Apple a depăsit luni pragul de 500 de dolari, după ce în deschiderea şedinţei de luni a crescut cu aproape 2% Clasanduse astfel pe poziţia a treia în rândul celor mai scumpe acţiuni din componenţa indicelui S&P 500.
Cu 612,23 dolari,Google este cea mai scumpă acţiune din S&P 500, urmată de Priceline.com, cu 549,55 dolari, şi Apple.Urmatoarele locuri sunt ocupate de Intuitive Surgical şi MasterCard cu 493,50 dolari şi 399,59 dolari, transmite Bloomberg.
Acţiunile Apple se aflau în urcare cu 1,8%, la 502,4 dolari în prima parte a şedinţei bursiere.

GOLIAT, primul nanosatelit românesc, dezvoltat de un consorţiu de cercetare condus de Agenţia Spaţială Română, a fost lansat în cadrul zborului inaugural al rachetei Vega a Agenţiei Spaţiale Europene (ESA), luni, în jurul orei 10.10 GMT (12.10 ora României), de la o bază din Guyana Franceză,informează Mediafax.

Potrivit AFP, mica rachetă europeană Vega a decolat luni de la Centrul spaţial din Kourou (Guyana Franceză) pentru zborul său inaugural, în timpul căruia va plasa pe orbită nouă nanosateliţi, printre care se numără şi GOLIAT, după o misiune de doar 81 de minute.
Lansarea pe orbită a nanosatelitului românesc GOLIAT este transmisă în direct pe internet, pe site-ul Agenţiei Spaţiale Europene (www.esa.int).
ESA spune că misiunea, numită VV01, se derulează normal şi fiecare din cele trei prime etaje cu combustibil solid ale rachetei s-au separat succesiv, potrivit programului. La mai puţin de şase minute după decolare, al patrulea şi ultimul etaj, cu propulsie lichidă - numit AVUM - a reuşit prima aprindere, pentru a urca să plaseze pe orbită, la o altitudine de 1.450 de kilometri, sateliţii plasaţi la bordul ei.
Capabilă să transporte o încărcătură de 1,5 tone pe orbită joasă (700 km altitudine), Vega vrea să cucerească piaţa vehiculelor mici şi să garanteze "un acces european în spaţiu", a spus Benoît Geffroy, şeful departamentului lansatoarelor ESA.
Cu o înălţime de 30 de metri şi o greutate la sol de 137 de tone, Vega completează gama lansatoarelor operate de la baza Kourou, alături de Ariane 5 ECA (categoria grea - până la 9,5 tone în orbita de transfer geostaţionar) şi legendarul Soyuz rusesc (până la 3 tone).“Integral pe Mediafax.ro”
